SO DAMN LUCKY is the third installment in the LUCKY O’TOOLE series, following WANNA GET LUCKY? and LUCKY STIFF. If there’s trouble to be found, it usually winds up on Lucky’s doorstep and she meets it head on every time. With twists and turns of not only the mystery, but the love lives of herself and those closest to her, SO DAMN LUCKY is a rip-roaring good time. Magical and thoroughly entertaining .
When a magician pulls a disappearing act right under Lucky’s nose, it leads (naturally) to murder and Lucky’s right in the middle of the action. Throw in the fact her relationship with The Big Boss is on shaky ground, and not one, not two, but three romantic interests, and you have an unbeatable combination. If you enjoy a funny, fast paced mystery with plenty of sex and sizzle, SO DAMN LUCKY is the book for you.
So Damn Lucky by Deborah Coonts is due to be released on Feb. 28. 2012 by Forge Books .
Deborah Coonts, author of Lucky Stiff, says her mother tells her she was born in Texas a very long time ago, though she’s not totally sure — her mother can’t be trusted. But she was definitely raised in Texas on barbeque, Mexican food and beer. She currently resides in Las Vegas, where family and friends tell her she can’t get into too much trouble. Silly people. Coonts has built her own business, practiced law, flown airplanes, written a humor column for a national magazine, and survived a teenager.
